Riveralissa is a girl who stands for what she believes in, is insanely stubborn, a little conceited, and so eone who can easily irk another when she wants to. Although she can be a sweetheart to, go out of her way to be kind to others if they show her they deserve it or serving out nice compliments or even, gods forbid, sparing them in sparring matches. Even though she doesn't beat the Ares cabin all the time, she's still extremely cinfident in her fighting abilities and isn't afraid to flaunt this either or delivering out vicious threats. Though she might not be as harsh when you first meet her, more calculating, someone who wants to analyze you before she rips you to shreds. And through all of her thick shell she wears on at all times, she's also emotional too. Be nice to her? She act as the most confused, surprised, shy, girl you've ever met. After all, she's not used to having friends after having her friendships being rejected over and over again.
And she most certainly will not fall in love. She finds this a weakness. If anyone acuses her of loving another, she'd press a knife to their throat. Being called lovesick wounds her pride as she works her whole life to erase all weaknesses and imperfections from herself. No, she'd rather go around creaming people in battle than falling for someone. Some warnings, too. Don't ever point out a flaw in her plans or fighting (Yes, she does have flaws which she's too proud to take notice of) or you'll find yourself being judo-flipped with your arm twisted so hard you'd think it was broken. River is also easily jealous and a little possessive. If something is "hers", it's hers and she won't let anyone run the risk of seperating her and the thing she's so attatched to.

Riveralissa was born on December Seventeenth to a man named Alec Wilde and Athena. Although "born" wouldn't really be an accurate word for it as like the war goddess herself, River was peculiarly born from her mother's head instead of actually been given birth to. Once River was born, though, Athena left her in Alec's care and disappeared from his life. Devastated over his loss of Athena, Alec attempted to give up River to an orphanage but somehow she kept coming back as the goddess Athena became increasingly enfuriated with Alec. Finally Alec decided to keep River and married a woman named Helena Corsswith who was the only one of the two who interacted with the young girl, Alec not wanting to even go within ten feet of his baby as she reminded him too much of Athena. Helena was far from the evil stepmother and cared for River tenderly, naming her herself. As River grew up, though, it became clear that she did not want to be taken care of. Stubborn old River refused to let anyone feed her as a baby and learned to walk by herself.
Surprised and a little upset on how Riveralissa rejected her hospitality she bore Alec three children of her own, two girls and one boy who they named Aurora, Jaclyn, and Daniel. Overjoyed, Alec and Helena literally forgot about River. After all, she never went up to them and cried for help or anything. Curious about her new siblings, River attempted to teach them of the things she'd learned from her father's large library but to no avail. The kids were simply too young to learn Math then and it was surprising to see that River knew of things like this at the age of three. Nevertheless, she spent days in her father's library and soaked in the information. She weasled her way into spelling bees and other competitions once she reached the age of seven and won every one of them, earning ten golden trophies in one month. Except when she tried to tell her parents of this they punished her for entering local competitions without their consent. River was certainly angry about this, shouldn't they be happy for her?
Determined, River excaped her home out of her window and climbed down a tree next to it to make a name for herself in the world and show her parents that she could earn their attention. She traveled to New York by bus and attended the top schools, excelling greatly in her grades but most definitely not her popularity. She failed at making friends as she was an annoying know-it-all in the eyes of others who snapped at other's work harshly with no mercy. River couldn't deny that this wasn't true but it still hurt greatly when three boys shoved her into a small crate and pushed her off the school's roof. That was when she'd discovered her two phobias; acrophobia and claustrophobia. Thus, the young girl was paralyzed in fear when it happened and was utterly useless. After the fall she was injured and sent to the hospital. She swore to herself that she'd never be that useless again and didn't wait for herself to recover and instead bolted back on a bus back to Maryland where she confronted her parents.
Sure enough her parents were quite proud of her bravery to go all the way to New York to fulfill her educational dream but still grounded her as she didn't tell them of this earlier. It was that day when her house caught fire when a weak cyclops set it to fire and attempted to kill River. River, with the help of her mother, Athena, got out alive but the rest of her family didn't and died. River was moved to an orphanage in New York where she was supposed to be held for adoption but escaped there and found her family's killer, the certain cyclops. The cyclops had chased her up Half Blood Hill and into Camp and to this day, River is extremely embarrassed that instead of like other demigods, she didn't fight the monster but fled. When the Second Olympian War happened River was determined to be a hero and save the day, replacing Percy (Who she thought was an utterly wrong choice to lead the Camp into battle as she has personal grudges against children if Poseidon) and some how save everyone. It didn't happen like that, though. River led her cabin into battle after being ordered to do so while Annabeth, her half sister, did the important stuff up at Olympus. Still happy about being in charge, River led her cabinmates but failed and ended up gravely injured and was replaced by another Athena camper. Horrified of having to live in all of her sibling's shadows (Particularly Annabeth's) River tried to join the fight again but in the ened, sat the war out. Now she resides in the Athena cabin and doesn't really communicate with her half siblings while also skirting around any conversation on the war.
